Lunar Digger

Designed by: Matthew & Abhi

"The Lunar Digger has many cool features that it uses as it explores the moon.

  • It has a camera on the front to detect rough terrain that the thing can't cross.
  • It also detects for boulders and rocks that it might bump into.
  • The Lunar Digger has treads, so it can cross more rough terrain easier.
  • The Lunar Digger Has a way of digging and collecting. First, the sensor detects a good place to dig.

Then the drill extends and digs a hole, potentially finding some hidden water or rock. The items found while digging are left on the ground, for the scoop to collect and move the items to the big box, which is the body of the rover.

The Radar sends information and pictures to humans on earth or on the Lunar Gateway."
