Last week we welcomed special guests Celine Lee (Country Manager for Alexa Canada) & Marie-Philippe Gill (Girl Knows Tech) at our AI & Ethics high school workshops in Montreal, QC and Dartmouth, NS. These women are both incredible champions for diversity in STEM!
"Our workshop with KCJ opened up possibilities to students who many not have realized the potential for career paths within AI and how AI impacts our world right now." - Shannon Patterson, teacher at Prince Andrew High School, Dartmouth, NS.
"I think that this presentation opened a door to possible career paths. I find it very interesting how AI can make so many new jobs. I also am excited and hopeful to see more women in careers in STEM." - Lia Boucher, student.
These workshops were made possible by funding from Amazon Future Engineer.
Grade 7-12 teachers can book a free workshop for their class here.
