The RER

Designed by: Richard, Elizabeth, Reese

"For this project we created The RER. The RER's purpose is to explore the moon using it's night vision camera, the altering tires, and artifact grabbing claw. The night vision camera helps the robot see in the dark places on the moon. Such as caves, meteor holes, and shadows of the rocks. It records all movement with it's 360 rotation so we can see it live on a screen. Next, the altering tires helps the robot by leaving sandy residue in it's tracks, so it knows its already been there and discovered that area. Finally, the artifact grabbing claw, grabs all the fascinating rocks and minerals and stores it in it's body. It's a great tool to have because it can help it discover artifacts on the moon. We control the robot by the waves it sends to Earth from it's solar panel."
