Roverta

Designed by: Alyssa

"Roverta is an AI robot that can be used to sense water on rough terrain. She has many features including a camera, many tools such as a drill and a blade, a robotic arm to take rock samples, a basket to put the rock samples, solar panels to recharge, lights, and a screen. Her camera can rotate 360% and can move up and down. The camera is also removable. Roverta has two robotic arms. Both are able to bend upwards and downwards. The arm on the right has a claw/scoop to collect rock samples. The other arm has lots of tools on it. As well as a drill and blade, the arm has a neutron spectrometer. A neutron spectrometer can sense where water is. These characteristics are what makes Roverta ideal for the Lunar Gateway mission."
